The Authors have collected large number of cases and have photographed the normal and pathological conditions of middle ear.

There are excellent endoscopic illustration of very rare conditions as well as common. But some photos are not clear

This books covers majority of topics to give wider dimension of ear pathologies.

The colour photographs are self explanatory, realistic and brilliant.

The footnotes are explanatory and crisp. This book will help budding otologists to learn from these illustrations. This work will help students of otology to diagnose middle ear pathology and to formulate proper management for the patients. This book also serves to emphasize on the importance of documentation.

review of my book by Dr. Sachin Gandhi

All of us who are into ENT practice for long time now know the vast variations with which a patient with ear disease can present and this book fulfills a much needed demand of an atlas in this subject.
Authors Mubarak Khan and Sapna Parab have taken painstaking effort to collect photographs of most of Ear problems. The clarity of the pictures and lucid description along with will definitely be immense help to young ENT surgeons. This atlas will help the undergraduates to understand and create an interest in this subject. Some pictures really suggest the extreme minute details that the authors have went into in depiction majority of diseases. The presentation of the book is also in an excellent format. An additional commendable point for the author is that lengthy theoretical discussion has been avoided to keep the interest of the reader for the atlas.

It gives me immense pleasure to write the Review of the book, “Endoscopic Color Atlas of Ear Diseases” by Dr. Mubarak Muhamed Khan and Dr. Sapna Ramkrishna Parab. The authors are young enthusiastic teachers and the assets of my department and college.  Both of them are extremely academically oriented and take keen interest in teaching. The book is result of their painstaking efforts and the constant desire to train the students in the best possible way. The book contains beautiful photographs of various ear conditions along with a descriptive foot note. The initial chapter on the anatomy of the tympanic membrane forms the basis for understanding the pathology of the middle and external ear in the best possible. The book is easy to read and has lucid presentation with nice formatting .This Atlas will be boon to MBBS students, ENT post graduates, students in Audiology, Speech & Hearing sciences as well as practicing doctors & ENT specialists. I congratulate both of them for their stupendous effort. I also congratulate the Jaypee Medical Publishers for promoting these enthusiastic teachers and also for quality and perfection in preparation of the book. review of my book by Dr.Nilesh.N.Madkikar

'Endoscopic Color Atlas of Ear Diseases 'written by Dr Mubarak M. Khan and Dr Sapna R. Parab(published by Jaypee Brothers) represents An excellent clinical compilation of various Otological disorders that is seldom is seen in one book.
Dr. Mubarak Khan has always been a teacher with that extra edge that helps make students understand a subject better, and I have been just one of the thousands that have benefited.  This color atlas published by him and Dr. Sapna Parab is a medium which has given the opportunity for all students / general practitioners'  to gain the most that one book can offer in clinical otology.
I have always believed in the sense of vision that can leave an everlasting imprint on the minds of all. This book is a beautiful picturesque assembly of almost all the clinical disorders that an ENT surgeon is bound to encounter in day to day practice, some of which are not so easy to diagnose, and some rarely seen. Dr Mubarak Khan's 16 years of dedication and passion towards otology is clearly visible in each page of the 163 page atlas which contains 271 high quality clinical pictures making this an excellent otologic atlas for all to own.
It's with great pleasure and confidence that I recommend 'Endoscopic Color Atlas of Ear Diseases ' to all my colleagues and juniors.

review of my book by Prof. Manish Munjal

Otology is an intriguing subdiscipline of otolaryngology –head and neck surgery, which during our formative years appears glamorous but later only the hardened few, i.e. those who have mastered the anatomy of the ear on either side of the tympanic membrane survive, to practice otology. The authors have painstakingly produced a comprehensive atlas with lucid and relevant text which addresses normal and diseased state of tympanic membrane, ear canal and middle ear. The masterpiece pivoted on the concept of “the mind recollects and applies”, which it has seen, has introduced, “tele-otoscopy”, vis a vis with far better illumination and excellent clarity contrary to the traditional outpatient Bull’s lamp or otoscopic examination and the time consuming cumbersome examination under microscope. The book shall be boon for the medschool novice and those already inducted in the fold of otolaryngology as even minute details like findings of both ears individually, which are sometimes are confusing are taken care of. It is an update for the specialist treating otological pathologies as it is a “photogallery” of clinical findings accumulated over a period of time. A sequele of the book covering middle ear pathologies in detail would be eagerly awaited. The book is a reflection of the current knowledge of otology and perplexing queries, it is hoped that it stimulates the reader to seek an answer to their queries to provide better patient care.

Review of our book by Dr. Haritosh Velankar

Traditionally the field of Otology has suffered due to poor visualisation and understanding of the common ear conditions by the undergraduate student. As a result the diagnosis & referrals of the ear diseases by the  family physicians, leaves much to be desired.
With the advent of Otoendoscopy lot of teaching hospitals are using this as a tool to educate the undergraduate students. In this respect the "Endoscopic Color Atlas of Ear Diseases" is a milestone in educating not only the undergraduate student and the family physician but also post graduate students & budding otologists.
The high quality photographs not only illustrate common ear diseases like acute & chronic suppurative otitis media, serous otitis media but also uncommon & dangerous  condittions like glomus tumor.
This atlas by Dr Mubarak Khan & Dr. Sapna Parab has raised the bar in the diagnosis of ear diseases & will benefit not only students and practitioners but the society as a whole.
